Juke / La-Do-Dada

Originally released on Checker 758. This harp classic is one of the touchstones of early 1950s Rhythm & Blues, and one of Little Walter's signature tunes. It is said that Little Walter could make his harp sound like a tenor sax, and he was instrumental in defining the sound that is now known as Chicago blues harp. This was the singer/harp player's first hit single, and a massive hit it was, topping the RnB chart for 8 straight weeks in the fall/winter of 1952. Note: The original Checker release was credited to Little Walter and His Night Caps.
