It's really hard to imagine rock'n'roll history without that amazing guitar-strum introduction. And Townshend and his crew were absolutely right insisting it be released in true stereo... having that electric guitar crashing in on the opposite channel from the strumming acoustic ones was sheer production genius. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Decca Records factory sleeve. It has Near Mint labels and vinyl. The audio grades just below Near Mint, reflecting some light surface noise over the intro.
