Spinning Wheel/ More and More

This was the group's greatest contribution to rock & roll. Though they never had a number 1 hit, they started out pretty strong with a string of 3 consecutive #2 hits. This was the second of the three. Oddly, and perhaps as a result of some superstitiously bad luck, each of the three hits lasted exactly 13 weeks in the Hot 100. The group never again returned to the top 10. Any trivia buffs out there...? Note: This copy comes in a vintage Columbia Records factory sleeve. This styrene pressing has mostly pristine audio... but the audio grade is EX because of an abrasion near the beginning of the A side that causes a "pop" each spin for the first 20 seconds or so. The labels would grade Mint except for some light "bubbling."
