jam

The Jam was a British rock band active from 1972 to 1982. Notable for their distinctive fusion of punk rock and new wave with elements of soul, R&B and pop music, the band comprised of Paul Weller, Bruce Foxton, and Rick Buckler. Their songwriting, led by Weller, often articulated the frustrations and aspirations of British working-class youth, contributing significantly to the post-punk cultural landscape. Key works include the albums "All Mod Cons" and "Sound Affects," which are considered seminal in the new wave genre.
