West, Bruce & Laing were a blues-rock power trio active from 1972 to 1974, comprised of notable musicians Leslie West and Corky Laing from Mountain and Jack Bruce from Cream. The group's sound was characterized by hard-driving rock rhythms, aggressive guitar solos, and a blend of blues and psychedelic influences. Despite their short-lived existence, West, Bruce & Laing left a significant mark on the rock scene, especially with their debut album "Why Dontcha". Their music is often cited for bridging the gap between blues-rock and the emerging heavy metal genre.
