My Baby Loves Lovin'/ Show Me Your Hand

Originally released on Deram 85058. The A side is practically one of the definitions of Bubblegum Rock, as in:\r\n
Question: Define "Bubblegum Rock" for me.

Answer: (a) "My Baby Loves Lovin'" by White Plains, (b) "Sugar Sugar" by the Archies, (c) "Yummy Yummy Yummy" by Ohio Express, (d) ...
The B side of this single is not part of that definition, but it sure is a lot of fun!\r\n

Interesting trivia: On this 1979 London reissue (with the sunburst label), the B side is labeled as being by the Brotherhood of Man, a group you Americans will remember best for their 1970 hit, "United We Stand." Turns out that both of these U.K. studio groups had key members in common, and it's possible--though I haven't found an example yet--that in the U.K. the B side was originally released as by the Brotherhood of Man. In the U.S., both groups' first chart singles entered the Bilozoard Hot 100 the same week in April 1970, and "Show Me Your Hands" was on the flip side of the White Plains single, "My Baby Loves Lovin."
