White Stripes

The White Stripes were an American rock duo formed in 1997 in Detroit, Michigan, consisting of Jack White (vocals, guitar) and Meg White (drums). They were known for their minimalist approach to rock and roll, with a signature sound characterized by raw simplicity of composition, arrangement, and performance. Their distinctive red-and-white color scheme and the mystery surrounding their relationship also contributed to their popularity. They played a significant role in the garage rock revival of the early 2000s, with their 2003 album, "Elephant", and its single "Seven Nation Army" being particularly influential.
