Wreckx-N-Effect was an influential American new jack swing group from the late 1980s to mid-1990s. Formed by then-teenagers Aqil Davidson, Brandon Mitchell, Markell Riley, and Keith "K.C." Hanns, the group became known for its blend of R&B, hip-hop, and dance music. They are most recognized for their 1992 hit single "Rump Shaker," co-produced by Teddy Riley, which showcased their signature catchy hooks and energetic beats.
