Young-Holt Unlimited was an American soul and jazz instrumental musical ensemble from Chicago, Illinois. The group consisted of Isaac "Red" Holt and Eldee Young, former members of Ramsey Lewis' jazz trio. They are best known for their 1968 hit "Soulful Strut," which brought them significant recognition in the soul and R&B genre. Their music, characterized by a distinctive blend of jazz and soul, proved influential in the late 60s and early 70s.
