It ended up being his biggest hit (and only #1), but was closely followed by a string of other monster hits over the next 2 years, highlighted by "I Didn't Mean To Turn You On" and "Simply Irresistable." All proved that Palmer could funk with the best of them, both on cover tunes and original songs. Having Bernard Edwards producing helped, of course. :-) Note: This reissue is now out of print.
