Point of Order/ Person To Pearson by Stan Freberg
Label: Capitol 2838 Year: 1954
Condition: M- $30.00
Point of Order/ Person To PearsonThis hilarious satire is practically part of American history! It's a not-so-subtle send-up of one of our Congress' darker hours: The McCarthy hearings on "UnAmerican Activities," in which a sheep (the Baa Baa Black one) has been known to provide wool to his master, which was used to make a RED sweater. Also, having been sheared, Baa Baa is now clearly PINK. :-) The flip is just as good, but without the serious underlying social commentary. Note: Both sides of this record are credited as a "duets" with Daws Butler.
