(C45s)I Found A Girl/ It's A Shame To Say Goodbye by Jan & Dean

Label: Liberty 55833 Year: 1965
Condition: M- $20.00
I Found A Girl/ It's A Shame To Say GoodbyeThese two tracks clearly point the way past the surf/car sound to what we now call Sunshine Pop. Not that Jan & Dean were leaders in the genre, but the genre evolved partly from the vocal harmony sound that this duo and the Beach Boys popularized in the early 1960's. The A side is an irresistible slice of Jan & Dean at their rocking best, covering a Sloan-Barri tune.
