This 45 originally 'bubbled under' the Hot 100 at #103 in February 1968. The first pressing of the 1968 release credits the A side writer as "Redwave," and another pressing shows "Redwave-Hayward." Later copies, like this one, show "Justin Hayward." Collectors Nerd Alert: It's difficult to distinguish the 1968 and 1972 pressings, because they look a lot alike and have the same catalog number. One distinguishing characteristic that I believe is useful is that the 1968 pressings (regardless of who is credited as the A side writer) show "A Product of London Records" in perimeter print along with the credit to Decca. Since this copy has that credit, I believe it's a 1968 pressing. This is also a longer edit of the 7:38 album track (the other edit clocks at 3:06, but I've also seen one that lists 4:26 as the track time). Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Deram/London Records factory sleeve. The labels grade very close to Mint in appearance, the vinyl (styrene) looks untouched, and the audio sounds pristine!
