Axel F/ Shoot Out

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original picture sleeve. This unforgettable, irresistible techno/funk instrumental was featured in the movie "Beverly Hills Cop" starring Eddie Murphy as Axel Foley. German keyboard/synth player/composer also contributed music to the movie scores of "American Gigolo" and "Top Gun," among others. This was his only U.S. hit, and notice that it also hit pretty big in the Black/RnB market (see chart info below). The similarly danceable B side was also on the soundtrack to "Beverly." Note: This beautiful 45 has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio), and the picture sleeve grades Near Mint with some age appropriate wear, but virtually no ringwear.
