Garry was half of the Bonner-Gordon songwriting team that was responsible for several of The Turtles big hits ("Happy Together," "She'd Rather Be With Me" for example) as well as other 1960s hits. He released a few solo singles, and this one is so good I give it a 2-star rating (our highest recommendation). If you like Northern Soul, particularly of the Philly variety, or if you're a fan of Bobby Bloom's soul singles, you'll be in heaven with this one. Have a listen to the mp3 snippet if you doubt me! It's rarely seen, especially in this condition. Note: This beautiful promo copy comes in a vintage Atlantic Records factory sleeve. The labels and vinyl grade Near Mint (the Stereo label is flawless--see scan), while the audio itself sounds pristine!
