From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed Stereo/Stereo promo copy, in its original Island factory sleeve. This great track was in the vanguard of the newly emerging Hip-Hop and Techno/Synth Pop sound of the early 1980s. This is a dramatically edited version of the 8:33 album track. This single was released with two different A-side edits: This one, measuring 2:55 and a later edit, measuring 2:50. The mixes are quite different, and it's worth collecting both. Note: This beautiful 45 has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).
