Bright Shiny Colors/ Too Much Of A Good Thing

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy with a drillhole. Now, why the heck didn't Scepter release this one with "Too Much of a Good Thing" as the A side? Yes, "Bright Shiny Colors" is a nice girl group tune, but rock'n'roll had moved on from the girl group sound, and I'm sure the Shirelles were tired of being seen as "girls," anyway. "Too Much" is just the right amount of a good thing, which today we call "Northern Soul." It deserved to be a hit back in 1967, and it still does today!
