This is a new, unplayed promo copy from the
Louise Neal 45 Collection. Wow! This terrific single has two great, uptempo sides of classic early 1960s Doo Wop. Credited just to "Tico," this is still the group with Paul Simon as backup singer, producer and writer (under his then-stage name, Jerry Landis). I wanted to put one of these sides in our online "jukebox," but frankly it was hard to decide which to offer. I finally went with "Cards of Love," which tells a tale of love based on the King, Queen, and Jack of playing cards — a metaphor worthy of a snippet, don't you think? Note: This beautiful promo copy has Mint labels, with no flaws worth noting, together with pristine Mint audio — nothing is missing; everything is crazy clear. The vinyl grades Near Mint, reflecting some very light storage wear.
