Church Street Soul Revival/ Draggin' The Line

Somehow I never realized that "Draggin' The Line," Tommy James' biggest post-Shondells hit, was originally released on the flip side of this earlier single. The A side is certainly more ambitious than "Draggin' The Line," but ya gotta admit that "Draggin" has a certain, er, irresistable appeal. And you don't have to explain what that appeal is, or why you find it irresistable. It just is, and that's OK. "Draggin' The Line" was re-released on Roulette 7103 and climbed all the way to #4 on the Bilozoard Hot 100 chart. By the way, both of these tracks have track times listed as slightly edited from longer (3:15, 2:45) album versions. The re-released "Draggin," by the way, has the full 2:45 version. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Roulette Records factory sleeve. It has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).
