Like the Seekers in the U.K., this U.S. folk group transcends the genre with catchy numbers like this... but it's not quite Folk Rock, is it? And not quite Sunshine Pop... Whatever genre you choose, it certainly deserved to be a Pop hit! Incidentally, this is a first pressing, on the black Philips label with the long title and "Crooked Little Man" in parentheses; later pressings went with the shorter title, previously in parens.
