From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed promo copy, in its original factory sleeve. This is the first issue of Bruce Hornsby's first single, which was roundly ignored by radio programmers when released in mid-1986. After his second single, "The Way It Is," went Top 10 a few months later, followed by the hit single "Mandolin Rain," RCA had "Every Little Kiss" remixed and released it again in May 1987, when it got as high as #14 on Bilozoard's Hot 100 singles chart. Needless to say, this first release, which clocks at 4:29, is a lot harder to find than the 1987 re-release (RCA 5165), which is half a minute longer at 5:06. Note: This promo copy has the same stereo version on both sides.
