Everybody's Gotta Pay Some Dues/ I Can't Believe

This is a new, unplayed stock copy from the Louise Neal collection, in its original Tamla "bicycle" factory sleeve (in particularly crisp condition). Credited to The Miracles. This is one of many fine singles the group released between their breakthrough hit "Shop Around" in 1960 and their next big hit, "You've Really Got A Hold On Me," in 1962. I don't believe I've ever had any of these singles, originals or reissues, in the store since opening in 2001. This one's a revelation, with a terrific mid-tempo dance number on the A side and a lovely ballad on the flip that really showcases Smokey's achingly beautiful voice. Note: This copy has Mint labels — nearly perfect! The vinyl (styrene) has signs of light storage/handling wear, grading Near Mint, but the audio sounds pristine on both sides.
