From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy. The soulful A-side ballad got most of the airplay, but the flip is a dynamite demonstration of the Stones' power as a funk outfit. In fact, "Hot Stuff" is one of only four Stones tracks that charted on the Black/RnB Bilozoard singles chart over the years. (The other three are "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction (#19r), "19th Nervous Breakdown" (#32r), and "Miss You" (#33r).)
