Here's a beautiful copy of this rare 1954 EP with four great early Haley tunes on the Essex label (red) (before he moved to Decca) and a to-die-for EP cover sleeve. By the way, if you've ever doubted that Bill Haley was a rockabilly visionary—probably the first one—you won't after taking a listen to "Crazy Man Crazy" on this great EP. This was Haley & the Comets very first chart record, which was a hit a full year before Elvis Presley & his band recorded the rockabilly classic "That's All Right" at Sun Studios. Credited to Bill Haley and The Comets, this EP has four songs:
- Rock The Joint
- Rockin' Chair On The Moon
- Crazy Man Crazy (chart info shown below)
- Pat-A-Cake
Note: This 45 record grades very close to Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio). The picture cover is Near Mint with light storage wear (see scan).
