Harpoon Man/ I'm Ready

This very rare issue is one of the few singles released by McCoy in the 1960's, when he was a sought-after harmonica player and session musician recording with the likes of Bob Dylan and Roy Orbison. McCoy later started a country music singing career in the 1970's. This early release finds McCoy and his crack backup band the Escorts doing a crack Garage-style rocker on the A side and a steaming cover of a Muddy Waters classic on the flip.
