Did you know that the first pressings of this Doors classic had the usual title with a lengthy addition? Yep, it was printed as "Hello, I Love You, Won't You Tell Me Your Name?" Understandably, this mouthful was quickly shortened to the one everyone's familiar with. This is a copy of that rare first pressing with the long title. Like other Elektra singles from the late 1960s, this one presents both sides in full Stereo. This gold-label pressing is quite rare, because nearly all first pressings of this single were on the red/white Elektra label that was superseded by the gold label design later in 1968. Note: The labels have some faint ringwear (see scan). The audio on this beautiful copy is pristine Mint.
