This single is gorgeous all the way around, including its dreamy, folky flip. This tune rounded out the duo's trio of top 10 hits that started their career, following "Sounds of Silence" and "Homeward Bound." Experiencing a small crush of pent-up product after "Sounds of Silence" went to #1, the followup to that smash came from the duo's second album (not excluding their earlier
Wednesday Morning folk LP),
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary & Thyme. Shortly after, they went back to the
Sounds of Silence album to release this little gem. Note: This copy comes in a vintage Columbia Records factory sleeve. The A label has a faint touch of ringwear (not visible in the scan). Although the vinyl (styrene) grades a strong EX to reflect some light scuffs, this little 45 has gorgeous and big, pristine Mint audio... a real treat!
