(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction/ The Under Assistant West Coast Promotion Man

This is the single that sits at #6 on Dave Marsh's list of the 1,001 greatest 45s of the rock'n'soul era. Unfortunately, the company that owns the rights to the Stones' catalog (Abkco) haven't reissued the group's 45s for many years, so it's hard to find either originals or reissues. This is one of the few Stones singles that credits "Nanker Phelge" as songwriter. "Nanker Phelge" was a pseudonym the band used as a way of sharing royalties among all band members instead of just Jagger & Richards. This is a first pressing on the turquoise-swirl London label. Note: The labels and vinyl grade VG, reflecting small writing on the A side plus ringwear on the labels and scuffing on the vinyl (styrene). The A side audio is very close to Near Mint, and the B side is a strong EX.
