From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original factory sleeve. Besides being the #1 greatest single of all time (according to Dave Marsh's list) this was the first Tamla record to use the new 'box' logo; earlier releases (and some early copies of this title) used the 'globes' logo. This is the less common variant with black type and the title in quotes. Note: This beautiful copy has Mint labels and vinyl, and the audio is very close to Mint (the vinyl has very light surface noise that's just audible during the intro only).
