This is a beautiful copy of Neil Diamond's remarkable, compelling foray into soul music. Of course, given the talents that put the track together, it's not surprising if the song reminds you of Bubblegum rock. What is surprising is that this classic tune wasn't a bigger hit — it didn't even crack the Top 10 back in 1967. This is the rare first pressing of "Thank The Lord…", which adds "I" to the beginning, as in "I Thank The Lord…" Shortly after release, the title was shortened. Note: This copy looks brand new and has pristine Mint audio. The labels are almost perfect except for the drillhole (see scan).
