I'm Gonna Make You Love Me/ Picture Me Gone

This is a new, unplayed stock copy from the Louise Neal collection, in its original Mod Records factory sleeve and with its original Mod Records shipping package. This is the rare first pressing, on Mod Records; the tunes were subsequently picked up and released by Phillips, and the A side reached #26 in February 1968. That A side went on to considerably more fame as a hit for the Supremes and Temptations later in 1968, but it's the flip that gets Northern Soul fans' heart racing. The B side is listed at #467 in Kev Roberts' list of the 500 Greatest Northern Soul singles. Comes in a rarely seen Mod Records factory sleeve, and includes the very cool Mod-themed shipping package that was sent to Louise Neal's house (see image). The package also includes the promotional letter sent from Eddie Mascari at Mod Records to Louise Neal with background on Madeline Bell and a plug for the A side. This single was sold through the Louise Neal Auctions page (the minimum bid was $60). Note: After a deep clean, this 45 emerges pristine Mint across the board, including audio.
