This promo release is special in a couple of ways: First, it has not only the LP version that appears on retail copies, but also an "Edited Version" that's almost 2 minutes shorter! Second, both tracks sound like full Stereo mixes to me, whereas the retail release was in Mono. Note: This beautiful promo 45 has Near Mint labels (see scan). The vinyl looks Near Mint with just a few light scuffs here and there. The audio is a mixed bag: The short version sounds terrific, with just a little surface noise during the shortened "wind and rain" intro and Mint sound thereafter, but the long version has light surface noise in the first half that makes it unsuitable for airplay. I'm grading the audio Near Mint overall, but fans of the long version be aware that it doesn't meet that standard.
