In The Still Of The Nite/ The Jones Girl

This is a beautiful copy of the first Ember pressing. This is truly one of the recordings that made rock'n'roll the phenomenon that it became. Coming smack in the middle of the year that the music blossomed on top 40 radio, it's indelibly etched into our collective cultural memory. The audio on this copy is a strong EX. Even with some surface noise, it sounds great! The B side is a terrific jump doo-wop number. Of course, if you really want the first pressing of this classic, see if you can find the original on Standord 200 (it'll run you over $1,000). Note: This record has Near Mint labels with a little inner-edge wear (see scan). The vinyl looks Near Mint, but the audio does have a bit of surface noise.
