This is an especially beautiful copy of the first Ember pressing, on the red label. This is truly one of the recordings that made rock'n'roll the phenomenon that it became. Coming smack in the middle of the year that the music blossomed on top 40 radio, it's indelibly etched into our collective cultural memory. The B side is a terrific jump doo-wop number. Of course, if you really want the first pressing of this classic, see if you can find the original on Standord 200 (it'll run you over $1,000). Note: This 45 record looks new, with Mint labels and untouched-looking vinyl. The audio sounds very close to Mint.
