There's no shame in loving "Indiana Wants Me," you know... Just as there's no shame in loving Bubblegum Rock or Sunshine Pop! Just because it's ultra-catchy and a bit maudlin, the recording grabs your attention from start to finish, simply forcing you to love it. :-) And this is the nicest copy of the single I've yet found! Don't miss the flip, which shows a bit of Taylor's Motown Soul roots. Incidentally, this pressing, which isn't represented in many online discographies of this release, has particularly nice typesetting, with the title and artist names in bold sans-serif type. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Motown Records factory sleeve. The vinyl (styrene) looks and sounds pristine — a first, I think, in my quest for the ultimate copy of this irresistible Bubblegum ditty. The A side label is almost flawless (see scan), but the B side has a tiny date inked on it.
