This single was Doris Troy's biggest hit, and perhaps her biggest contribution to Soul music as well -- a must-have proposition! It has become impossible to find, even on reissue, so the price for collectable copies keeps rising. Incidentally, all original 1963 pressings have the following credit below the artist name-- "An Award Music Production Supervised by Artie Ripp" -- and none has an address for Atlantic (you can see the credit in the accompanying scan) . Pressings without those features are later pressings on the same catalog number, release years unknown. Just be aware that those are second pressings, not original ones, and they are worth about half as much. Note: This is an especially beautiful stock copy, in a vintage Atlantic Records factory sleeve... a really fine specimen! The powerful audio sounds pristine Mint.
