Last Train To Clarksville/ Take A Giant Step

This was the group's first chart single, and what a great debut it was! No, they weren't a new Beatles, but this was first-rate pop for sure. Be sure to check out the wonderful Goffin-King tune on the B side, with its delightful little psychedelic interludes. Note: The picture sleeve is one of several variations that were released... some in color 2 colors like this one (red and black), some in full color, some with the white banner at the bottom, some not, etc. This copy of the sleeve has no tears or split seams and very light ringwear; however it's graded VG to reflect some wrinkling across the surface (reflecting moisture damage?).
