Lil' Liza Jane/ Teletouch

If you know the version of this song recorded by Huey "Piano" Smith & The Clowns (from 1956, it was on their first single), you'll get a big kick out of this country rendition. The Carlisles had a string of big country hits in the early 1950s, and judging from this single it's easy to see why. The flip is a real hoot: Bill Carlisle (the group's leader who had been recording since the 1930s) dreams up a device of the future that would let people communicate sort of through their TV screens, but with actual touch as well (holograms, maybe?)
