Originally released on Atco 6651. This terrific single is a garage/party outing in the mold of "Farmer John" by the Premiers. The song, a spot-on sketch of money as "the root of evil," was first recorded by the Kingsmen as the B side of 'The Jolly Green Giant,' but frankly the Fireballs version is superior, a rave-up that earns our highest recommendation: 2 stars. This is a like-new copy of the gold/black Atlantic Oldies reissue.
