One of the group's last singles, this one just scraped the Bubbling Under chart, but it's actually got a more enduring value than that performance would suggest. The A side is a fine Sunshine Pop track with Beach Boys-style harmonies and everything! The flip is a surprisingly exciting, straight-ahead rocker version of the RnB classic. Note that the A side is a tune cowritten by James Griffin, one of the principals in Bread. The song was also recorded in 1968 by the Cascades.
