Make Me Happy/ This Thing I've Gotten Into

This is the kind of single that is just impossible to classify into a neat and tidy category. Bobby Bloom wasn't really a soul singer, but there's actually a very fine line between bubblegum and soul music. Some of Bloom's recordings are clearly pop/bubblegum, but this one is so soulful that I'm putting it into that category. Both sides are simply terrific... great beat, catchy arrangements, soulful singing... what more can you want? And all this at an affordable price, too! Incidentally, I had previously put the A side in the Classic 45s jukebox, and now, seeing that it's my wife's "All Time Favorite Song," I'm adding the flip as well.
