Midnight Rider

This is a Stereo/Mono promo copy. Here is the rarely heard (or seen) 1971 version of "Midnight Rider," which became a big hit for Gregg Allman in 1974. I'm not sure which version I prefer, though I think I lean to this one, since it still features Gregg on lead vocals, but has the whole band behind him. On the stock copy, the 45's flip was "Whipping Post." Note: This copy's label has two stains on the Mono side, where stickers were removed, and the record time (2:57) is circled. This copy comes in a vintage Atlantic/Atco Records factory sleeve.
