This 45 originally 'bubbled under' the Hot 100 at #103 in February 1968. The first pressing of the 1968 release credits the A side writer as "Redwave," and another pressing shows "Redwave-Hayward." Later copies, like this one, show "Justin Hayward." Collectors Nerd Alert: It's difficult to distinguish the 1968 and 1972 pressings, because they look a lot alike and have the same catalog number. One distinguishing characteristic that I believe is useful is that the 1968 pressings (regardless of who is credited as the A side writer) show "A Product of London Records" in perimeter print along with the credit to Decca. Since this copy is missing that credit, I believe it's a 1972 pressing. This is also the longer of two edits that were released of the 7:38 album track (the other edit clocks at 3:06). Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Deram/London Records factory sleeve. The labels are a bit faded, but the vinyl looks hardly touched, and the audio is Near Mint with a touch of underlying surface noise.
