This is a very nice promo copy of the greatest recording made by Martha Reeves & The Vandellas. It's a first pressing on the Script-style Gordy label and is unusual because most Motown promos are on a white label. So great is this single that it takes up spot #10 on Dave Marsh's list of the 1,001 45s to collect from the Rock'n'Soul era. It's also #367 on the Rolling Stone Top 500. The B side is another rousing dance number, not to be missed. Note: This copy's A label grades a strong EX, reflecting some light markings (see scan); the B label is clean. The audio is pristine Mint.
