This is a beautiful copy of what some believe to be the greatest recording made by Martha Reeves & The Vandellas. It's a first pressing on the Script-style Gordy label. So great is this single that it takes up spot #10 on Dave Marsh's list of the 1,001 45s to collect from the Rock'n'Soul era. It's also on Rolling Stone magazine's Top 500 Songs list. The B side is another rousing dance number, not to be dismissed. Note: This copy comes in a vintage Hitsville U.S.A. factory sleeve. This 45's labels have a stray mark on them (not visible in the scan, which is a representative image from our archive). The vinyl looks Near Mint, and the audio must be heard to be believed... bursting with great sound and the clarity that only these old grooves can provide.
