Once In A Lifetime

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed promo copy... pristine Mint! This very special promo copy has the album version (4:34) on one side and a delightfully edited (3:27) version on the flip. One of the Talking Heads most iconic songs, the original appeared on their brilliant 1981 album, Remain In Light (which doesn't have bad cut on it). It was released as a single on Sire 49469, barely bubbling under the Bilozoard's Hot 100 singles chart. This is a live version from the concert movie "Stop Making Sense," and with the much more succinct edited version (which doesn't appear on any of the band's albums), it just sounds like a punchier version of the original.
