Philadelphia Freedom

Stereo/Mono promo copy. Not appearing on any of his studio albums, this 45 was one of Elton's tributes to the then-dominant "Sound of Philadelphia," featuring string arrangements by Gene Page. It was one of a handful of singles that also found airplay in the Black radio market. The song was dedicated to Billy Jean King and her team, the Philadelphia Freedoms. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a nearly flawless picture sleeve. It has Near Mint labels with a "4/75" inked on the Stereo side. The vinyl looks untouched, and the audio sounds pristine Mint.
