Piano Man/ You're My Home

Here's a nice copy of one of Joel's most popular tunes, and one of his hardest singles to find! Like "Tiny Dancer" for Elton John and "Born To Run" for Bruce Springsteen, "Piano Man" wasn't a huge hit when released but came to be one of the defining moments of the singer's career... one that everyone who loves Billy Joel must have in their collection, and there just aren't that many collectable copies floating around out there. Oh by the way, this relatively long (for a 45) song is actually specially edited from a 5:38 album track... Making it even rarer, since you won't find the 45 edit on an LP. Note: This 45 record comes in a vintage Columbia Records factory sleeve. The labels would grade Near Mint but for a tiny "x" on the A label and a promo-only stamped lightly on the flip. The vinyl (styrene) looks only EX in appearance, reflecting some notable scuffing, but the audio sounds surprisingly good... Near Mint with very little surface noise.
