This tune was the group's first Top 10 single in the U.K. (Their first single, "Love Me Do," peaked at #17.) Interestingly, the B side of the U.S. release, "From Me To You," was the group's followup to "Please Please Me" in the U.K. and became the Beatles' first #1 hit there in April 1963. Here in the U.S., the B side didn't appear on any contemporary Beatles album. This Vee-Jay variant has a black label with a rainbow band and the Vee-Jay logo in an oval. Note: This 45 record comes in a vintage Vee Jay Records factory sleeve. The labels would grade Mint but for a small, neatly applied sticker on the A side (see scan). The vinyl looks almost untouched, and the audio sounds pristine!
