Run, Run, Run

This is a reproduction of the original Bell release, with the terrific A side on BOTH sides. This is a brand-new copy, but the audio is a little 'off' in one channel... it sounds like it's got a bit of treble distortion. The effect is fairly subdued, but noticeable (listen to the jukebox mp3 snippet). Why has someone reissued this obscure Jim Gilstrap single? Well, turns out it's a huge hit in the U.K.'s northern soul scene, where guru Kev Roberts pegged it at #94 in his latest top 100 list, and if you can find an original copy, you've also found over $1,000 (see keep it safe!). (Note: The A side mp3 snippet was made as a mix of the left and right channels, while the B side snippet was made from the left channel only, which doesn't have the treble distortion.)
